Many guys fantasize about dating a stripper, because they usually have hot bodies, dress sexy, are sexually open-minded and have even sexier friends. Here are some tips on how to make something happen.

1. Find a strip-club where you feel comfortable. Usually the type of club you go will determine the type of women that work there. Clubs that are 18+ and don’t have bars usually have very young inexperienced girls or jaded veterans, gold diggers or both. It is true that these girls that are usually attracted by the gangster type male who can give them some sense of protection and follow their party life rhythm. You might get lucky with them but they are not good dating material. Go for the gentlemen club type places or topless bars where you can usually find more educated dancers, sometimes college students or even college graduates. These girls are usually far more interesting and open to socialize within the confines of their workplace.

2. Become a familiar face at the club by befriending first the Bartender, manager, security… This may provide good deals in the future.

3. Show up early. Go to the club right after they open, usually in the first hour or hour and a half after they open, the place is dead and the strippers are just chilling, hanging around, practicing pole-tricks and talking to each other. This is the best moment to try to approach them without feeling under pressure because they are still not in their crazy money-making mode.

4. Be sweet, or at least, non judgmental. Lots of these girls are used to get the worst treatment from men who regard them as a disposable piece of meat. LISTEN to them, very slowly give them a chance to open up and tell you their stories (they usually have really good ones), show genuine interest in their activities outside the strip-club.

5. Don’t focus your attention on their bodies. Everybody likes compliments but they get them all the time. Use EYE CONTACT, not leg or bust gawking. Ask them about books, movies, school, family, life and they will find you a lot more interesting to talk than most of their customers.

6. Instead of complimenting their body parts, tell them they look good in their new outfit (compliment the color scheme) or they are really improving a lot on the pole-tricks, stuff like that. After MANY visits, if you become close to them (HINT: if they smile and come to you, as soon as they can) to you and there is a level of mutual trust you can even give them some advice or criticism - without being offensive. This way they will feel that you are trying to help them, you are on their team.

7. Don’t ask them for their phone numbers or real names right away. Let them give it to you when it’s the right time. Give them yours instead.

8. Always tip them when they are on stage but also tip their friends. Make them feel that you are actually showing some gratitude for the great performance they are giving, and this goes beyond sexual attraction.

9. Never get a lap-dance. Not from the girl you are pursuing, even less from any of her friends. If you do so she will consider you a “regular”: one of those pathetic lonely guys who fall in love with a stripper and give them regularly lots of money. She will never date you once that business relationship with her is established.

10. Learn to love yourself. It will be difficult, because you’re lying to take advantage of someone, but try anyway.

11. Instead, when the club gets too busy and all the girls start getting lap-dances from their customers, just leave, and let her know that you don’t want to interfere in her money making, wish her good luck and tell her you’ll come to see her some other day.

12. When you finally get to go out with her, don’t try to impress her with flashy expensive stuff. She is a stripper and she is used to guys showing interest to her through money and presents. Try to find some common intellectual interest instead. Give her a present that you made yourself for her, a painting, a mix-cd… something more significant.

13. Make sure you read up on feminist theory, so you can feel appropriately guilty.

14. Don’t assume that because she is stripper she will go to bed with you right away. On the contrary, some of these girls usually take a long time to get to know you; they don’t generally trust men because they deal with the worst sides of men for several hours a day, so be patient and show her that you are different.

Never judge them or their profession. Don’t look down on them for what they do and don’t assume that because they are strippers they must be promiscuous and easy.

Don’t get drunk at the club where she dances. Dress nicely and make sure you smell good.

If you have jealousy issues, don’t bother dating a stripper. She was a stripper before you met her, don’t try to change her.
